Logging into the vcsa via ssh and running df h showed that the storage core area was indeed 100 utilized.

I ran into this issue recently when one of the vcenter appliances in my test environment triggered this alarm in the vsphere web client. Storage core partition basically contains the core dumps generated on a event whenever a service crashes within the appliance. This repeats every 4 5 hours.

Over the period of time this can fill up the partition which inturn causes vcenter services to stop responding.
